Janelle M. Love, MD is a board-certified physician in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine who practices with a functional medicine approach. After a family member was diagnosed with autism and was not helped with traditional medicine approaches, she “looked outside the box” and began investigating integrative and functional medical therapies for children and adults with many different medical conditions. Therapies included addressing the inflammation, infections, food intolerances, oxidative stress, hormone imbalances, epigenetics, and environmental triggers people face.
She then expanded her knowledge base by attending numerous conferences over the years and received a Master's Degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine. Her training has led her to treat individuals for natural hormone replacement, severe neurological conditions such as ALS, MS, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, ADHD, allergies, depression, anxiety, OCD, environmental toxicities, and many more.
Her approach is as a medical investigator, a private detective. She initially spends two hours with new patients listening to their history, doing a physical examination, drawing blood, and working as a team with the patient to determine which testing and therapies would be appropriate. Sometimes international lab testing is completed for patients with advanced medical conditions. At the completion of the visit, patients receive a typed plan which they take home and then they can begin the journey to help improve health. Many times this leads to patients improving not only their health but their own families’ health due to their acquired knowledge.
Dr. Janelle Love is a Maryland native who is always “thirsty” for knowledge. Beyond her medical degree from Emory Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, she has a master’s degree from the University of South Florida Medical School in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine. She has an advanced fellowship in Regenerative, Anti- Aging, and Functional Medicine and is board certified in Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine. She is a member of the prominent organizations such as the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine (AARM), Integrative Medicine for Mental Health (IMMH), and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
